National FCCLA Programs
Career
Connection is a national FCCLA program. Through this program,
young people can complete activities that help them understand
careers and career development. This
project guides young people to link their options and skills for
success in careers, families and communities. Through individual,
cooperative and competitive activities, members:
discover their strengths;
target career goals;
initiate a plan for achieving the lifestyle they desire
Each project fits within one of the following six units:

3.Program Career Steps
4.Link Up to Jobs
5.Access Skills for Career Success
6.Integrate Work and Life

Community
Service Award recognizes chapters
that identify a community need and
promote community involvement to meet that need. |

F.A.C.T.S.
(Families Acting For Community Traffic Safety)
F.A.C.T.S. is a national FCCLA program that recognizes members
that make a difference by assuming a leadership role and
demonstrating a willingness to improve their community traffic
safety.
Families First is a national peer education program. Through this
program young people plan and carry out projects that help them
and their peers become strong family members and address their
family-related concerns. Members may work on their own, in small
groups, or as a chapter. Each project fits within one of the
following units:
1.Families Today- members learn to understand and celebrate
families, plus
recognize their contributions to individuals and society.
2.You-Me-Us- this unit is designed to improve relationships within
all families
with whom members come in contact.
3.Meet the Challenge-members learn how to help families deal with
problems.
Through projects in the meet-the-challenge unit, one can learn
about
problem areas, develop skills to cope with problems and reach out
to family
members as they deal with difficult situations.
4.Balancing Family and Career-this unit allows families and family
members to
learn how to juggle responsibilities and manage resources at
school, at
work, in the community and at home.
5.Parent Practice-members learn about parenting and help others
practice
some of the necessary skills. |

Financial
Fitness is a national FCCLA peer
education program that involves teens
teaching teens to make, save and spend money wisely. |

Step One is a national FCCLA
program that introduces new members to the organization
and opportunities. |
|
Student Body is a teen peer
education program of National FCCLA. This program helps teenagers
become familiar with facts and resources concerning good health
and the use of
positive peer pressure to influence other teens to develop good
habits and attitudes about their bodies. |
