Final Project for Computer
Art Class |
Create a Digital
Portfolio
|
|
For the final project in this course, you will need to
complete a digital portfolio of your work using Power Point. I want
you to go back through your work and include examples of all the major
assignments that you have created for this class in this presentation.
Your Power Point must include the following: |
|
- Title Slide: (first slide) Contains the following information -
Name, Course title ("Computer Art"), Digital Art Portfolio, Date
|
- Second Slide - Contains your artist statement. This
text should be about you as an artist and what you were trying to
achieve in your work.
Guidelines for the Artist's Statement:

include in your artist's statement.

|
- Subsequent Slides- Contains all of the work you have done this
semester. Please only put one image per slide. I would
encourage you to include variations of the finished pieces as well.
(I know that some of you had several versions saved for various
projects.) This would give the viewers some idea of how you made
adjustments and improvements along the way. You should have a
minimum of ten (10) projects in the show. Here's a refresher of
what projects you should have completed this semester.
- Each project has the number of works from each assignment that you
did shown below.
- Digital Self-Portrait Project (3 works)
- Signature Banner Project (1 work)
- Writers' Block Magazine Cover Project (1 work)
- Theories and Principles of Graphic Design Book Cover (1 work)
- Insert Yourself into a Photograph (1 work)
- Fish out of Water Project (1 work)
- Movie Poster Project (1 work)
- ImageReady Animation (2 works)
- NCHS School Play Poster (1 work)
- Winterfest Logo w/flyer (2 works)
|
Your Power Point presentation must be harmonious in the
use of colors and text. All text should be legible and be able to be
distinguishable from the background color for the slides.
Choose background colors for your slides that go with the images you are
using. I cannot stress enough that the slide show should be visually
attractive and neat. |
