Unwrap the Gift Logo Design

Assignment:  Create an original logo design for the annual "Unwrap the Gift" talent show at NCHS.
This talent show will be held sometime in the month of February during 4th block. The judges will be from persons throughout the school district.  Any NCHS student is eligible to participate in this show and  there will be tryouts the week before the show, after school. Since it is a talent show geared toward the holiday theme of "unwrap the gift", the acts should be centered around that idea.  Acts can be no more than three minutes long.  Your job is to create a logo that will be used for flyers and the school web-site. 

LOGO REQUIREMENTS:

  • 150 DPI
  • Keep format of image a PSD file (no flattening, no merging)
  • Size: 8" x 8", white background
  • All images used in the logo must be original work.
  • Logo must contain the phrase: "Unwrap the Gift"
  • image should be bold, eyecatching and be able to clearly illustrate the theme (even if there were no words)  If you want to incorporate the idea of Valentine's Day into the logo, you can.
  • Make use of filters, layer effects/adjustments, masks, and other tools that you have learned so far.
