Specifications:  You will use the attached files to create a new document that will look like the End File. Flatten final image and save your version in the "Johnson Digital" folder marked "Masks and Channels", at original size @72 dpi.   DIrections for this assignment are in the instructional link file below.

IMPORTANT:  Make sure your final work contains your name in the file name when saving it to the public folder.

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to do the following:

• Refine a selection using a quick mask.
• Save a selection as a channel mask.
• View a mask using the Channels palette.
• Load a saved mask and apply effects.
• Paint in a mask to modify a selection.
• Make an intricate selection using the Extract command.
• Create and use a gradient mask.

This lesson will take about 70 minutes to complete (which is about 2 class periods).  Project is worth 50 points.
