Students from across the Burley-Coal region
participated in the annual competitive art exhibit sponsored by the
Kentucky Art Educator's Association. Touring the facilities at
MSU's Claypool-Young Art Building, watching art demonstrations in a
variety of media, participating in hands-on workshops, competing in a
sculpture competition and, of course, looking at the high school art
exhibit in the main gallery, were just some of the terrific activities
that our students took part in that day. All first, second, and
third place winners took home ribbons and each student received an
exhibition certificate for participating in the show. First place
entries automatically will be entered into the All-State Competition at Dixie Heights High School. |
